Wall Cladding by Design Style
Wall cladding at Bathroom Republic is organised by design style — marble, stone, wood and terrazzo effects. All four use the same PVC panel system as the wider cladding range (fully waterproof, adhesive-fitted, grout-free), but each design style has its own character and suits a different type of bathroom or interior scheme. Marble wall panels replicate the veining and tonal variation of natural marble in a lightweight, waterproof board — the most widely ordered style for contemporary bathrooms with chrome or brass fittings. Stone wall panels reproduce the textured, matt surface of natural stone including slate, travertine and concrete effects, typically in grey or taupe tones for a more grounded, architectural look. Wood wall panels bring a warm, panelled character using wood-grain PVC boards, most commonly used as accent panels or in cloakrooms. Terrazzo wall panels feature the multi-fleck terrazzo pattern in a PVC format.
Choosing a Style
The finish you choose for wall cladding should be guided by the fittings already in the room — or the fittings you are planning to install. Marble panels in white or grey tones work well with chrome and brushed brass hardware and with white sanitaryware. Stone and concrete-effect panels suit matt black or industrial finishes. Wood panels work best with warm-toned hardware such as brushed brass or copper. Terrazzo works in both contemporary and retro settings. All four styles are available in the same thicknesses (5mm, 6mm and 10mm) and can be mixed with matching ceiling panels from the Bathroom Ceiling Panels collection. See Bathroom Wall Panels for the full non-style wall panel range, or browse Cladding for the complete overview.
