Exposed Shower Sets

An exposed mixer shower blends compatible hot and cold water supplies through a wall-mounted valve. The mixed water is then directed to the connected shower head, handset or other available shower function.

Some models use thermostatic controls designed to regulate the selected temperature when supply conditions change. Temperature limits and safety features vary, so check the individual specification before choosing a set or compatible bar shower valve.

The included parts depend on the individual exposed shower system. Suitable models may include a valve, overhead shower head, handset, hose, riser rail, wall arm or mounting fittings.

Check the product specification carefully before ordering. If components are supplied separately, compare compatible overhead shower heads and arms or shower handsets, holders and hoses.

An exposed shower keeps its controls and connecting pipework visible and accessible on the wall. A concealed shower places compatible working parts behind the finished wall, leaving the control plate and selected shower outlets visible.

Your choice will depend on the preferred appearance, existing pipework, available wall depth and amount of installation work required. Ask a qualified installer to check compatibility with your bathroom and water system.

Check the required water pressure, pipe centres, connection sizes, valve type and available mounting space. You should also confirm which shower components are included and whether the selected finish is available for that model.
