About Bathroom Ceiling Panels

Bathroom ceiling panels are PVC cladding boards installed on the ceiling in wet or damp areas — primarily bathrooms, shower rooms and en-suites. Unlike standard plasterboard or paint-finished ceilings, PVC ceiling panels are 100% waterproof and will not absorb condensation, making them suitable for rooms with high moisture levels. Panels are typically 5mm thick and available in white gloss, marble-effect and other designs to complement wall cladding or tiles below. Coverage per panel varies by range — check the product listing for exact dimensions before calculating quantities. Standard wall panels should not be repurposed for ceiling installation; ceiling-rated panels are specifically tested for overhead use and the adhesive and trim methods differ from wall applications. No grout is required: panels are fitted using adhesive and joined with plastic trim profiles to seal the edges.
