What Is an LED Mirror Cabinet?

An LED mirror cabinet combines a mirrored bathroom cabinet with integrated LED lighting around or behind the mirror face — giving you hidden storage, a mirror and task lighting in a single wall-mounted unit. The LED strip activates via a touch sensor on the mirror surface and typically includes a demister pad behind the glass to prevent condensation after a hot shower. Cabinets in this range feature internal adjustable shelving, are available in single-door and double-door configurations, and are IP-rated for safe bathroom installation. Finishes include white gloss, and some models include USB charging ports built into the cabinet body.

Sizes, Electrical Requirements and Fitting

Cabinet widths in this range run from approximately 500mm to 1000mm; larger double-door units suit wider vanity runs or double-basin layouts. Like all LED mirrors, these units require a mains electrical connection behind the wall — a qualified electrician should install the wiring before the cabinet is fitted.
