Exposed Shower Valves

An exposed shower valve has its controls and valve body visible on the wall. It is commonly used where a concealed valve inside the wall is not required. Pipework may remain visible or connect through the wall, depending on the valve and installation.

A bar shower valve is one specific type of exposed valve. It normally has a horizontal body with controls at each end. Other exposed valves may use round, square or traditional control designs. See our dedicated bar shower valves for bar-style models.

Check the distance between the hot and cold inlets, connection sizes, top or bottom outlet position and the required water pressure. Confirm these details against the individual product specification. A qualified installer can check whether the new valve is suitable for the existing pipework.

Thermostatic exposed shower valves are available in this collection. A thermostatic valve is designed to help maintain a steadier water temperature when the hot or cold supply changes. Check each product to confirm its controls, temperature features and pressure requirements.

If you prefer the valve body to be hidden inside the wall, compare our concealed thermostatic shower valves.

Compatible options may include a shower slider rail kit, handset, hose or replacement fittings. Browse shower handsets, holders and hoses or exposed shower parts. Always check the connections and product specifications before combining separate parts.
