What's in the Basin Fittings Range?

Basin fittings are the components needed to complete a basin installation beyond the basin and unit themselves. This section covers six categories: basin taps for one-hole and three-hole basins, tap and waste sets (tap and matching waste sold as a coordinated pair), basin wastes, basin traps, overflow caps, and fixing kits for wall-mounted basin installation. All major categories are available in chrome, matt black and brushed gold, so you can match every visible fitting to a single finish across the whole basin setup.

Finish Matching and Compatibility

Choose your basin tap first, then work outward — match the waste, trap and overflow cap to the same finish. Mixing finishes (chrome trap with a matt black tap, for example) is the most common fitting mistake and the hardest to correct once the basin is installed. Wall-mounted and counter-top basins generally need a bottle trap rather than a standard P-trap because the waste pipe exits horizontally through the wall or cabinet. Compact and cloakroom basins often need a slimline trap to clear the cabinet space below. If replacing components only, check the existing waste outlet size (32 mm or 40 mm) before ordering.
