Why Choose a Vertical Radiator?

Vertical radiators are designed for rooms where horizontal wall space is limited. Because they run floor-to-ceiling rather than along a wall horizontally, they deliver the required heat output from a narrow footprint — making them particularly well suited to bathrooms, en-suites, hallways and open-plan spaces where walls are broken up by windows, doorways or fitted furniture. A tall vertical radiator can also serve as a visual feature in its own right, especially in larger formats with sculpted tube or column profiles. Unlike horizontal radiators, which spread heat along the lower section of a wall, vertical radiators distribute warmth across their full height — an advantage in rooms with high ceilings. Most vertical radiators in this range are wall-mounted and connect to existing central heating pipework at the base, installing in the same way as a standard horizontal panel.

Sizes, Outputs and Finishes

Vertical radiators in this range span heights from around 1000 mm to 1800 mm and above, with output ratings measured in BTUs — calculate the BTU requirement for the room before selecting a model to ensure adequate heating. Widths range from narrow single-section panels under 300 mm to wider multi-section designs for larger spaces. Finishes include white, anthracite, matt black, chrome, brushed brass and brushed gold. Most models are available in plumbed (central heating), electric and dual fuel configurations, giving flexibility for rooms not on the main heating circuit.
