What Is a Water Closet Unit?

A water closet unit (WC unit) is a floor-standing furniture piece that houses a concealed cistern for a back to wall toilet pan, with the flush button on the unit's front face and shelf storage space on top. Bathroom Republic stocks 25 water closet units in white and grey finishes, sized to sit behind back to wall pans so only the pan and unit front are visible in the bathroom.

WC units pair specifically with back to wall toilet pans — the pan sits flush against the front of the unit while the cistern and supply plumbing are concealed inside the cupboard body.
