About Shower Wall Panels

Shower wall panels are waterproof PVC cladding boards designed specifically for use inside shower enclosures, wet rooms and around baths. Unlike ceramic tiles, shower wall panels require no grout — the surface is fully continuous, which reduces the number of joints where water and mould can accumulate. Panels in this collection are available in 5mm, 6mm and 10mm thicknesses; 10mm is recommended for shower enclosures where the board needs to span any minor unevenness in the wall behind it. Designs include marble-effect in white and grey, grey slate, white gloss and glitter finishes. All panels in this range are 100% waterproof and rated for full wet room use. Compatible PVC trim profiles are available separately in the Wall Panel Trims collection to seal joins and perimeter edges.

Installing Shower Wall Panels

Shower wall panels can be fitted directly over existing tiles or onto a prepared, flat wall surface using panel adhesive. Check the wall is sound and free of loose or unstable tiles before starting. Pipe penetrations for shower valves and fittings will need to be cut into the panel — follow the manufacturer's guidelines for cutting and sealing these openings to maintain the waterproof rating. Calculate coverage from the panel width and height listed in each product, not from the total square metre figure alone, as panel orientation affects how many boards are needed per wall.
