Twin basin taps — also called pillar taps — are a pair of separate hot and cold taps designed for basins with two tap holes. Each tap fits through its own hole and connects to a single supply line, with no mixing inside the tap body itself. This configuration is typically found in traditional and Victorian-style basins, butler sinks and period-style bathroom furniture. Two-hole basin tap centres — the distance between the holes — are usually 180mm, though some basins use a different spacing. Always confirm the tap hole centres on your basin before ordering to ensure the pair fits correctly.
Twin basin taps in this range are available in traditional crosshead and capstan-handle styles with intricate detailing, and in cleaner lever designs that suit more contemporary basins. Finishes include chrome, matt black and brushed gold. Traditional chrome crosshead styles work well paired with semi-pedestal and full-pedestal basins in period-inspired schemes. If your basin has a single central tap hole rather than two separate holes, a mono mixer is the correct fitting instead — browse Basin Mixer Taps or Compact & Cloakroom Taps for smaller basins.
