Bi-fold Door Rectangular Enclosures

A bi fold shower enclosure is a practical option when there is limited space around the shower entrance. Its folding door mechanism can reduce the clearance needed compared with some outward-opening pivot designs.

This can be useful when a vanity unit, toilet or bathroom furniture sits close to the shower. Check whether the selected model folds inwards or outwards and confirm the available entry space before ordering.

Bi-fold doors use hinged panels that fold together, while sliding doors move along a track. Sliding doors generally need no outward swing clearance, whereas bi-fold designs can offer a different entry arrangement that may suit a narrow shower opening.

The usable entrance width depends on the individual door mechanism and frame. Compare the options in our rectangular shower enclosures collection rather than choosing by nominal dimensions alone.

Measure the available width and depth, then check the enclosure's adjustment range, folding direction, entrance width, glass thickness and frame finish. Confirm which components are included and whether a shower tray and waste must be purchased separately.
