Thermostatic Showers

A thermostatic shower uses a temperature-sensitive valve to balance the hot and cold water. It adjusts the mix when supply conditions change, helping provide a more consistent showering temperature. The exact operation and controls vary by model.

Choose according to the installation style and number of water outlets required. A 2 outlet shower set commonly combines an overhead shower with a handset. A 3 outlet shower set can control an additional compatible outlet. Check each product’s included parts before ordering.

Not every thermostatic shower needs a pump. This depends on the shower model, available water pressure and the property’s hot-water system. Check the stated pressure requirements and ask a qualified installer to confirm compatibility.

Suitable models are available with overhead showers, handsets and other controlled outlets. Browse rainfall showers for wide overhead designs or explore shower heads and arms for compatible upgrades. Finish options may include chrome, matt black and brushed brass.

Check the water-pressure requirement, hot-water system, outlet configuration and available installation space. Concealed valves also require suitable space behind the finished wall. Installation should be completed by a qualified professional. For bath-mounted options, see our thermostatic bath shower mixers.
