When Rectangular Is the Right Shape

Bathroom Republic stocks 175 rectangular shower enclosures for bathrooms where the shower sits in a recess or alcove — a three-wall installation with the door on the open fourth side. If you are fitting into a corner where two walls meet at 90°, a quadrant, square, or offset enclosure is the correct shape. If the shower sits in its own recessed space, a rectangular enclosure is the right choice. Standard sizes run from 700mm × 900mm up to 900mm × 1400mm.

Choose Your Door Type Before Browsing

All 175 models are organised by door mechanism — choose the right type for the space in front of the enclosure:

• Sliding door — no swing clearance needed: The most common door type for rectangular enclosures. Two glass panels slide past each other on a track. No floor clearance required in front — right when a toilet, basin, or door sits opposite the shower.
• Bi-fold door — compact opening: The door folds in half as it opens, requiring only a small amount of clearance. A practical choice for narrow bathrooms where there is not enough room for a pivot door but a sliding door feels too wide for the recess.
• Pivot door — wide entry access: Hinged at the side, the door swings fully open. Gives the widest entry of any door type but requires the most floor clearance in front of the enclosure. Suited to bathrooms where the floor space opposite the shower is unobstructed.
• Enclosure with tray included — matched bundle: A rectangular enclosure and tray sized to fit together. Removes the need to cross-reference tray dimensions separately — both pieces arrive together.

Frame and Finish Options

All rectangular enclosures at Bathroom Republic are available in chrome and matte black. Frame profiles range from slim semi-frameless to fully frameless — frameless models use 8mm or 10mm toughened glass and suit open-plan bathroom schemes. Semi-frameless options are available at lower price points with the same glass quality.
