Longer in One Direction — Right for Alcove and Walk-In Showers
A rectangular shower tray has a different measurement on each axis — for example 1200mm long × 800mm wide, or 1400mm × 900mm. This asymmetric shape suits shower enclosures installed in an alcove between two walls, or larger walk-in configurations where the shower floor runs further in one direction. Unlike a square tray, the longer dimension can span the full width of a recess and make better use of available floor space. Both measurements must match the enclosure exactly — neither dimension can be substituted.
64 Options — Size Range and Colour
With 64 rectangular shower trays in the range, Bathroom Republic stocks across the full spread of standard UK enclosure sizes. Available in white and slate grey: white works with chrome and brushed nickel frames; slate grey complements matt black and gunmetal framed enclosures. Both colours are available in stone resin, which is more rigid than acrylic and can be pigmented to non-white finishes. Standard height (~90mm) means the waste trap sits at or above subfloor level with no floor void required.

Standard Height or Low Profile?
At approximately 90mm, this range works on any floor type including solid concrete — no recess, void or riser kit needed. If you need to reduce step-in height for accessibility or to achieve a more flush look, see the low profile rectangular shower trays instead. Also available: square shower trays and quadrant shower trays.
