Why Rectangular Rather Than Square?

A rectangular shower tray has a longer dimension in one direction — for example 1200mm × 800mm or 1400mm × 900mm. This makes it the right match for rectangular shower enclosures, alcove configurations where one wall is longer, or walk-in enclosures that occupy more floor space in one axis. Both width and depth must match your enclosure exactly, as neither dimension is interchangeable. Like all trays in this range, the height is 52mm — significantly lower than a standard 90mm tray and closer to floor level without requiring a full wet room floor build-up.

Ordering and Installation Notes

Measure both dimensions of your enclosure before selecting a tray. A 1200mm × 800mm enclosure requires a 1200mm × 800mm tray. At 52mm, the waste trap must sit in a void beneath the floor boards or a recess in the subfloor — it cannot sit above the subfloor at this tray height. Check your floor structure before ordering.
