Shower Sets

A shower set combines compatible shower components into one coordinated system. Depending on the model, it may include a shower valve, overhead shower head, handset, hose, rail, wall arm and controls.

The supplied parts vary between products. Check the individual specification before ordering rather than assuming every set includes the same components.

Choose according to your bathroom layout, preferred appearance and existing pipework. Exposed systems keep compatible controls and connecting parts visible, while concealed systems place suitable working components inside the wall.

A shower riser kit commonly combines an overhead shower and handset on a riser rail. A shower slider rail kit provides an adjustable handset position and can suit simpler shower arrangements.

A shower outlet is a water route supplying a shower function. A 1 outlet shower set normally supplies one function, such as an overhead shower or handset.

2 outlet shower sets can supply two functions, commonly a fixed head and handset. 3 outlet shower sets are designed for compatible arrangements with an additional function. Whether outlets work separately or together depends on the valve and model.

A thermostatic shower set uses a compatible thermostatic valve to regulate the mixed water temperature. This can provide more consistent temperature control during use, although performance and required water pressure vary by model.

Check that the selected shower set is suitable for your water system and intended outlet arrangement before installation.

Check the required water pressure, number of outlets, available wall depth, pipework position, product measurements and supplied components. Also confirm whether your installation requires exposed or concealed controls.
