Low Profile Square Shower Trays

Equal-Sided for Square and Corner Enclosures

A low profile square shower tray has equal width and depth — typically 800mm × 800mm or 900mm × 900mm. This makes it the correct base for square shower enclosures, corner entry enclosures and bi-fold or sliding door square configurations. Where a rectangular tray adds length in one direction, a square tray keeps both dimensions the same, which matters when the enclosure frame is designed around equal-sided geometry. At 52mm in height, these trays sit significantly closer to floor level than a standard 90mm or taller tray.

What to Check Before Ordering

The tray dimensions must match your enclosure exactly — a 900mm enclosure cannot sit on an 800mm tray, even if it is the same shape. Check that your floor has either a void beneath the boards or a recess in a solid floor, as the 52mm height does not leave room for the waste trap above the subfloor.
